在高中英语的写作课堂中和大家一起分享了，要在考试中取得高分，必须开展“四化”建设：结构清晰化、开头个性化、用词凶悍化和句式多样化。前面“两化”都有一定的技巧性，而后“两化”则需要靠大家在平时的英语学习中日积月累，积累的越多才会有足够的知识点和素材，从而写出丰富的而且有思想的作文；反之，即使用完所有的积蓄，也只能写出残缺的文章。
众所周知，新概念英语第二册，由浅入深、逐步学习语法要点；同时通过对经典句型结构的分析和理解以及对词汇的大量补充，能逐步提高我们英语听、说、读、写、译五项综合能力。因此，学好新概念二册完全可以让我们为建设后“两化”做充分准备，同时也是提高我们高中英语写作的好素材。
高中写作中对词和句的要求，从整体上说，也就是要求我们在写作中要做到语言的多样化。首先看词，用词要凶悍也就是我们的词汇要在准确的前提下做到丰富和高级，因为阅卷老师会去有意寻找那些相对高级和复杂的单词，所以我们要学会摆脱那些写作考试中常见的“恶心词汇”，这样才能张显个性，打动阅卷老师。新概念二册词汇的学习过程，正是让大家词汇不断丰富和升级的一个过程，这样的例子基本上每篇课文都会出现。
比如在学习第一课bear这个单词时，我们就会学到其他几个表示“容忍”的单词：tolerate, stand, enre, 而我们在第二单元27课的难点学习中还可以学到一个非常经典的词组put up with，通过练习的句子I’m getting a divorce. I can’t put up with him any longer.就能深刻的记住它的意思。
在写作中我们经常要使用表达爱憎感情的词语，例如“喜欢”，除了我们都会的like, love以外，在新二第1课出现了enjoy这个词，在第20课我们会学到be interested in这个词组，在第26课，单词便升级到欣赏这个词appreciate。
学习二册词汇最大的特点是，我们会经常区分同义单词的意义，这对我们写作用词的准确是个很好的保证。例如，在我们学习“损坏”这个词时，第3课出现了spoil，在第10课出现了damage，加上break和destroy，通过例句我们便很容易区分四个单词的意义，break表示破和碎，The little boy broke the window of the neighbour’s.（小男孩打破了邻居家的窗户），spoil指的是心情和质量的破坏，往往含有不顺心的的意义，The rain spoiled our plan to go camping. （雨天打破了我们野营的计划）；damage强调的是一定程度上的可以修复的破坏，The car’s engine was damaged in the traffic accident.（交通事故损坏了汽车的发动机）；而destroy的损坏则指的是无法修复，彻底摧毁，Typhoon destroyed the wooden hut.

再看句式的多样化,这也是阅卷老师关心的一个问题，老师会在作文中寻找是否有好的以及丰富的句式，有就会加分，反之则会减分；大家都喜欢用简单句，道理很简单，长句信息量大，但结构复杂；短句简洁明了，但信息量小。一连串的长句不易于读者理解，而一连的短句又使读者感到单调。如果能在写作中做到长句和短句相互补充，文章就会显得错落有致，语言表现力也会增强。在一篇作文中使用2到3个复杂句，就会给文章增色很少，至少提高一个得分档次。在新概念二册的学习中，存在大量的经典句型，而且每种句型都在不断的升级；同时，每一单元都是写作的一个提高，比如我们在一单元会学习简单句，二单元则重点讲解用连词合并简单句成并列句，而三四单元则升华到使用复杂句。
例如，我们在第一课会学到这样一句型，I could not bear it.这是个典型的主语+情态动词+动词原形的结构，而随着我们的学习，学到的句型会一个比一个升级，在第34课第4行，有“……not……anymore.”句型：I could not bear it anymore. 第38课8到9行，有“It is more than……”句型：It is more than I could bear. 第50课10行，有“This is as far as…..”句型：This is as far as I could bear. 随着学习，我们自己就可以见证句型学习的进步和多样化，英语学习之一大乐事也。
学习新概念第二册，可以让我们在学完一册后敢于开口说英语到敢于动笔写英语，从而可以见证它对提高写作水平有着非凡的作用。第一课的学习便开始了一单元的简单句之旅，除了帮大家分析句子成份外，我们还会学习英语中的五大基本句型：主+谓，主+系+表，主+谓+宾，主+谓+双宾，主+谓+宾+宾补。通过一个这样的小对白，我们便可轻而易举的记住五大句型：You know. I find you.
